Tally misses Maggie.  She is a bit down over the last week or so.

I found out yesterday the old friend Dana Hall passed away on Fathers Day, Sunday.  He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in May just after he retired.  What a rotten stroke of luck.  His funeral is Friday in Escondito. 

In the last year I have lost a number of friends and family.  Barbara Anne M., Bob McC., Joel M., Rich S. Ed W. and now Dana.  I think I have forgotten someone also.   Losing a lot of friends here.

I worked on the engine Saturday.  We blew out the firebox, flues and smokebox.  Dirty work.  I am taking this weekend off.

I had a busy weekend with work on Saturday and a directors meeting on Sunday.  The Kings have lost two games and now lead 3-2.  They play at home tonight, and if they lose they go back to NJ.   That won't be good.  The Yankees swept the Mets over the weekend.  Can't complain there.

I got my Canadain back from the Whistle Stop.  $1214 dollars.  Good Gief.  I had to change out the couplers and might have to change out the wheels.  We shall see. 

Should be a quiet week for a change.

70th anniversary of the Battle of Midway.  I went to three doctors for checkups for my eyes and teeth.  All is good.  It was a busy week for that.  We plugged up 3751 to clean out the superheaters but couldn't get the air up  Next weekend.  We have to clean her up also.  It is really dirty.

On Sunday I went to the Huddle for Jerry's 83rd birthday.  It was good.  We may get on a ride on the 24th of June. 

The deck repair guys are out for the upper and front decks.  Has to be done.
