High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

I had a nice weekend. I went to two parties, one in SA at the AHOC and one for softball. The first was the usual bs session with lots of idle talk about nothing. The second was mostly people I didn't know. Yesterday we went to one of MR's friends for a light lunch. Very quiet day.

The Lodge cooler was down and it cost us a lot of block ice to keep the thing cool. I think we got by ok. Work is slowly winding down although there is a little competition for the department coordinators job. This will be interesting.

Only 13 more days to go.

Interesting weekend. I went to the Chili Cookoff in SJC. That was good. I went to the Westminster Elks and the food was horrible. They can't cook meat. It was like eating rubber bands. Sunday I worked out and went to Mother's for a bit. I ran into Laurie from Sud's ('97). She has aged a bit. Still as perky as ever.

It was the last episode of Deadwood Sunday night. What now???

Last night we split a doubleheader. I pitched pretty good in the first game. I had a decent night at the plate also.

Tonight is Lodge with tuxes. Rats!!!

It won't be long now. Only 17 days until Christmas

I just got over a very busy weekend. Friday we were at the Lodge with the Maccarthies and others. On Saturday I led a run to Red Mountain and Randsburg. The Silver Dollar was fun and the food at the White House fine. The weather was cool, turning to hot later. After a fast ride home we stopped at Todd's party for a quick one and on to home. We cleaned up and went to Kerry and Maries for another party. Great time! Crashed into bed and got up to go to an AT planning meeting. I think AT is on the rocks. Not a lot of involvement from others, besides the usual suspects. I was really tired and crashed in the afternoon.

Work is winding down, but the creation of the master schedule is ugly. I might burn a few bridges here. Hurry up June 17th.

Monday night we lost at softball 11-10. Oh well!

We really had a busy weekend. On Thursday night I went to an AT Board meeting. As ever there are issues. They havn't got a venue for Thunderation settled yet. The idea of Lifestyles is not going to work. I suggested the Wesminster Elks Lodge. We shall see. On Friday we went to the Angels game. A bit boring. Saturday I did honey-dos and tutored some for the AP exam. Sudnday was the same. I went to VL birthday party at the Westminster Elks Saturday night and Mother's Day at the HB Lodge on Sunday. JR and PD took me to lunch on Friday. All-in-all I was busy.

Tonight I have a softball game at 6:30, and the week is full.

I have recovered from the MC trip to Beatty. All-in-all it was a very nice time. I finally got rid of the turd. In fact it changed hands five times in one day. The weather was perfect and we found Rick's placque. I went to the RR club last night after working out. I went to the doctors earlier for my annual physical. I seem to be in good shape.

Today is busy as usual. I sold the furmobile to KR for $400. A steal for him but fine for me. We are going to the demonstartion today at 4pm. Fast Eddie will also be in for a couple of days. Enough already!
