New Years Eve 2013
This will be the last post of 2012. We had a wonderful Christmas season. We only went to one last party without family and two with family. We are going to Dukes tonight for New Years Eve dinner.
2012 has been a good year with Obama re-elected the republican party in disarray. We might be going over the fiscal cliff since the gop wants to change the calendar to 1913.
Oh well lets call it a year.

End-of-the-world-day
Yawn. The only end of the world was for John Boner and the GOP in Congress. They melted down last night and made themselves look like spoiled brats. Of course the NRA's response to the massacre in Newtown wasn't much better.
We went shopping at Fashion Island on Wednesday and it was fun. What can I say but let's go to South Coast Plaza Sunday.
I got re-elected as SBRHS treasurer again. Three years. WTF!
All in all 2013 looks good except for the fiscal cliff the wealthy want to go over. Fuck them let's go!

December 11
Been pretty busy with SBRHS, WHS potluck and A+Skid Row Toy run. We have a directors meeting on the 16th. I have all the paperwork finished. On Sunday I rode with John Reger and Staci and her boyfriend Eric to LA's Skid Row. Very fast ride up. They have changed the route into the toy zone. Seems that the vagos and mongels have dominated the event. Anyway I rode home alone immediately after dropping off the toy.
I have to make a decison on bonds with the bank next monday.
I went to WHS for a science potluck. Good to see all the old gang. The school looks great. Stopped in to see Kevin and Elaine.

Rainy
It has been rainy for the last four days. Nothing to worry about but nice warm fall rain. I was going to a toy run yesterday in Pomona but the rain soaked my on the 55 fwy. I turned around and it was a bit scary with the slippery streets. I took city streets home.
Following the Yankkees on the web and it seems that ARod might need hip surgery and be out fot six months. They also need a catcher and right fielder. Might be time to try out a couple of rookies.
MR and I are looking for a crusie next Novermber in the western Meditteranean. The price is right but airfare could be a problem.
Went to a dunner party Satrurday night. Our conservative friends are in agony.
