High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

Bundled MR and her mom off to Buffalo this moring. I have a lot to look after while she is gone. I also have to look after next door's cat for a week. Busy weekend. I worked on 3751 both Friday and Saturday. We almost have the pilot truck together. Lots of cleaning and painting. Bob is driven.

Went to a wine tasting on Saturday night. Nice time. Went to the swap meet Sunday. I don't think the AH are long for this world. It doesn't seem a lot of people are going to Beatty and probably fewer to Yuma. Time marches on.

Busy Friday and Saturday on 3751. I worked 6 hours on Friday and 8 Saturday. I was really tired. On Sunday, MR had the family and friends over for corned beef dinner to celebrate St. Pat's Day. Really a good, busy day. The first guests came at 1 pm and the last left at 11 pm. We were wiped!! Monday was lunch with the Ritz Bros and the usual dinosaur's were there. CH and I went to the range for shooting in the early pm.

The market is all over the place. The Fed cut 3/4 of a point and the market jumps 420 points! I don't know if cutting the interest rate will be the answer. They have to restore some confidence in the consumer.

Tuesday was a potluck at WHS. Fun. This Friday and Saturday are 3751 days and a swap meet on Sunday.

I have been very busy since the last post. I went to a GJA lunch at the Phoenix Club. The speaker talked about the Santiago Canyon fire last October. Very interesing. On Friday, MR and I went to Kim G.'s for a poker party. Lots of fun and I won 4th place. Saturday night we went to the Lodge with Bob, Char and John N. We had dinner and they had a great band. All-in-all a very nice night. Sunday we went for a MC ride to Cooks's and Mother's. Great weather for a ride.

The stock market has been all over the place. I was about to dump the whole thing when it jumped 400 points!!.

This week has been busy also. Monday was railroad club, Tuesday was AT, Wednesday a fund raiser for a biker at the Starting Gate and Thursday a memorial for Pam W. at the Westminster Lodge. Turns out that Denise S. has breast cancer. Not nice.

I worked last Friday and Saturday on 3751's pilot truck. I am going up this Friday and Saturday also. Busy, busy. How did we ever find time for work?

Once again I worked on 3751 in LA. We removed the pilot truck and I helped clean it up. Tons of grease had to scraped off. We used a degreaser to finsih the job. It still needs so work.

I went for a MC ride on Sunday. Stopped at the Huddle to see the boys and rode up to Orange. Bad winds.

Monday I went to the RR club. That was OK. Tuesday I had lunch with some of the members of last years GJ. Good time. Tomorrow the GJA has it's quarterly lunch in Anaheim. Friday is poker Busy Busy
