Vacation planning
MR has scored two first class flight tickets direct to Boston in May. We have tickets for the RS v Cleveland while there and tickets for the RS and Yanks at YS a week later. Great start to the vacation season.
Took a ride wth Dan out to Barstow last Sunday. We were going to take a road to Stodard Wells but it turned into a dirt road. I have to upgrade my long distance riding skills

March 19
We had a blow out St. Pat's Day party at the house. Family and a few friends. MR really put out a spread. We really had a fun day.
We are ramping up on 3751 for the San Berdoo trip in a month. We have drilled out the staybolts and hammer tested them. Next is pressure test.
We got a nice tax return from the state and the feds are next
It doesn't look good for the Yanks this year. It seems that the SB Bros. are trying to do it on the way cheap. Tex is probably gone for the year along with ARod. Grany is out until May. Jete isn't 100%. Those empty seats in YS are going to make it interesting.

MC meeting night
We are on daylight savings time again.. Can't figure why we are in early March. Sure is dark again at 6 am.
We are going to an AT meeting tonight. MR is gearing up for St. Pat's Day on Sunday.
We are thinking about a railroad vacation. Europe a possibility but maybe NE

Early March
Not much going on. The weather has been OK recently but it is cooling off today.
I am trying to get two BLI engines repaired so I sent the offending drivers for repair. I got an email back stating it would take six weeks to repair. Rats.
Tne new windows in the house are great and the alarm system is good also. I thnk we ware finished with major stuff for the house this year
