October 27
It has really been busy at the GJ. Lots of meetings and work. A bit of travel also. I rode up to Pioneertown with JG and the AT group. Nice day. MR and I went to Chimayo's later with friends. Sunday was a kick-back day and dinner at Flemings in NB. The steak was great! It was a bit pricey also. We had a miserabe softball game. This season is getting old. Two more games and a bit of time off. This weekend is the Halloween Party at the Lodge. Saturday I am going to finish the caterer contract. We have a lot of stuff to buy for the kitchen. Nothing but woe.

Not much new here. The Lodge is an absolute pain. The GJ is fun. We won at softball Monday 14-13 in 8 innings. Nice game to play, although I got blasted by a ball on the mound. I might go on a MC ride with AT on Saturday. Pioneertown sounds like fun. What else is new. Really nothing. We are having dinner at Flemings on Sunday and Chamayo's on Saturday. Must watch what I eat.

A lot happened over the weekend. The Yanks folded in bad form. Rerally a mess. We lost in softball last week to forfeit and last night because we didn't hit. Over the weekend we made some progress with the caterer budget. I sure can't wait until April 1. Goodbye Elks!!!!!!
I think I need a nice long MC ride somewhere. It has been really boring each weekend. What the hell!

October 2
We just got back from one of the best vacations ever!. We flew to Boston and had dinner with Eric and Kathy in the north end. We rode the subway all day to Harvard and north end. We picked up a car and drove to Bangor Maine. No big deal there. We continued on to Ft. Kent on the northern border with Canada. We stay in the Northern Door motel and had a great dinner at the Swamp Buck bar and restaurant. We went into New Brunswick and checked out Edmundston. OK town. We followed US 1 and 1A to Eastpost Maine. This is the eastern-most city in the US. Nice motel and great dinner. We followed US 1 all the way back to Mass. We spent nights in Searsport and Kennebunk. In each place the seafood was fabulous!. We even drove the 25 miles of New Hampshire coastline. We had no problem returning the car, a new Chevy HHT. We even went back to the north end on the subway for a last meal. The flight home was great. Back to the grind!
Go Yanks!
