Late November
Thanksgiving was a blast with all the Marines and their stories. The weather has been a bit cool so riding the hog is out. I am going to hand in my retirement papers on Tuesday the 30th. Odd feeling. I had the colonoscopy and it was fine. All the plumbing is functioning fine. I finished an article on the K-3 class locomotives and emailed it to Canada. This four day weekend is great. All I have to do is grade a couple of sets of papers and that is it. I rode the jeep to Mother's and the Huddle today. All the AH were there. BH is doing fine with the business. Good deal. The house might be sold. At least we got two offers. Keep your fingers crossed.

Great Weekend
On Friday the 12th, we rode out to Ft. Mohave on the motorcycles. It was a great ride through 29 Palms and Amboy. Gas was expensive in the desert. We stopped at Mac's and went over to the Avi. The room was fair, but the food was good. MR and I won a few bucks. We rode up to Oatman while the ladies prepared an early Thanksgiving Dinner. Wonderful time, but unfortunately RJ dropped his bike. Turdville for him. Saturday night MR and I partied a bit too much, but won a bit of money. Sunday morning was a tough ride to the OC.
On Monday night the BC won a doubleheader and we are the champions.

Short Week
Today is Tuesday and I have one more day until a four-day holiday. We are going to the river on the M/C. I hope it doesn't rain. The weekend was a long long long event. I was wiped on Monday morning. We lost again to that team One Bad Inning. They have taken us twice this year. We have a double header on Monday. We have to win at least one game or we are the NY Yankees. Ugly thought.

Another Dark Day
Texas Hitler won the presidential election. Four more years of ripping off the middle class for the benefit of the rich. There goes the environment, Supreme Court, health care and whatever else that f----- idiot can think of. I guess we will have to listen to all the christian freaks also.
The Economist had a dark article about the current accounts deficit of the national debt. When the bill comes due, the pain will be nasty, especially if we are still fighting wars abroad. All the yuppies with all the debt will find themselves upside down. TH will bail them out! Fat chance.
