High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

Interesting weekend. Found out Bob and Char got married on the sly. Good for them. We had a T-day party which was nice. Family and friends. I bought a new computer desk for the office and put it together. MR has a cold and is down. We went to John Ski's surprise birthday party last night. It was a blast. His son plays in a R&R band and they are really good. We ran into a lot of people we havn't seen since Dave H's memorial service. All-in-all a great time. I have a lunch with Kathy M. scheduled for Tuesday. I have laser surgery on Friday. Busy week ahead.

We rode out to inferno gulch over the weekend for an early Thanksgiving at the Maccarthy's. We stayed at the AVI resort. It was a fun trip and the weather was perfect. On Monday I ordered the hats for the AHOC. We forfeited softball because of a few late players. This won't do. I have a busy weekend with being a waiter at the fashion show at the Lodge and RA's memorial service for his wife. Weather is fine. I am fine.

The girly-boy nazi gasbag son-of-a bitch governor got his butt kicked in yesterday's election. 0-for-8 at the plate. What a jerk. I feel better now. MR and I are off to inferno gulch this weekend. I hope it doesn't rain. The weekend was quiet except for the Rollin' Stones concert. We had seats on the floor in scction C. It doesn't get much better than that. I have a few odds and ends to clean up at the Lodge and then the holidays. We have a surprise party to go to on the 26th of November for John Ski.. This ought to be fun. My back hurts!

Quiet week for us. Halloween Party on Saturday night was great. Nice time. Halloween day brought a lot of neighborhood kids for candy. MR loves it. We went downtown for the festivities. Stopped at Perq.s for a couple. Not much doing until Friday night when we go to the Rollin' Stones concert and Inferno Gulch the week after. The weather is hot for this time of year. I don't like the Santana winds.
