Busy week
We went to two BBQs over the weekend . We went to the AH and TBs. Nice to see a lot of old friends. TB's house is fabulous. They really rebuilt it. I also went to two Elks events, one for young military mom's and one for the vets in the hospital.. Really good work.
I got two things in the paper on the Chili Cook Off at the Lodge. Good deal.
I got the jeep in good shape also.
The house looks great. They really did a great job on the stucco.

The crew is taking down the scaffolding from the house. The stucco looks great. It only took three weeks and the job is finished. We have to replace the exterior lighting and get a new railing for the front deck. Finished until we redo the guest bathroom.
The Yanks are on a roll. They have won eight in a row and they seem loose. The Phillies are in town this weekend.
The 3751 is shut down, probably for the summer . Hope there is an excursion in the fall.
I have to pick up my new CCW card today. No restrictions. How about that, sports fans.

Mid-May
A lot is going on around here. We have gotten the front of the house stuccoed. It looks real nice. We will have to replace the railing on the front deck and we will put two new gates around the back yard.
The Yanks stink. They are at .500 after six weeks of baseball. Really under performing.
We had the engine up to LAUPT for National Train Day. A long couple of days but it seems to have worked well. So far this year we have traveled about 12 miles. A lot of work for those 12 miles.
MR is looking for airline tickets to Baltimore for a weeks vacation at the end of June. I am looking forward to it also.

The weekend was a rush. I worked over 28 hours on the engine. I also scored a ride back to the roundhouse. We do it again starting on Friday. National Railroad Days at LAUPT.
The stucco job on the house is coming along fine. They have two coats on already. We have to pick out the colors for the color coat. It is going to look sharp.
I went to the Ritz for Cinco de Mayo. It was OK. Tonight is AT's board meeting. I have tenatively been appointed as Asst. Dir. This ought to be interesting.
