High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

Not much going on after the weekend.   We went to a surprise 30th birthday party for my  niece Kelly.  Good time.  We are gearing up for the 4th of July mess around town.  Three days of hell.
I really wish we were out of town. 


The Yanks are stinking up the place.  They are so far from being a contender it isn't even funny..


Half the season over and they are two games over .500

I had a real great four days.  On Friday June 13th the LA Kings won the Stanley Cup in five games over the NY Rangers. 


On Saturday we had a party at Bill May's for his daughter Natalie who graduated from high school.  A lot of family was there.


On Sunday Al from the RR club treated my to a ride on PE 1624, a freight engine.  Real nice


On Monday I went to LA to see the victory parade of the Kings. 


All in all a great four days

Well let's see what is new.  The Yankees are in meltdown.  They can't buy runs let alone manufacture them  They were 1 for 17 in their last game in KC.  They have 4-5 regulars hitting under .250.  Jeter is looking bad.


The LA Kings are one victory from the second Stanley Cup in three years.  GKG!


MR is going to Vancouver WA on the 18th.  Sissy and Annette are gong also to visit Ellie.


We are totally booked into the cruise is August.  Yeaaaa!
