High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

A couple of short items.  First the BNSF railroad has nixed two excursions that the 3751 was scheduled to head.  That is it for the year.  Future   looks grim.

58 Years ago today Ted and I rode the last steam powered train out of the Main Street depot behind NKP 4-6-4 #175 to Cleveland and back to Conneaut OH.  We swapped engines there getting 2-8-4 #763 for a fast ride home.  Gone but not forgotten.

Had a great vacation to the east coast last week.  Spent time in Cape May NJ, Rehoboth Beach  DE and Ocean City MD.  Picked up each for 10 days  and PA for 2 totaling 11 there.

All in all a nice time.
