High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

We won at softball last night, although I didn't hit worth a darn. Pitched well though. We are having crown molding placed on the first and third floors of the house. Looks great. I had a nice weekend. I took a short ride on the FXR on Tuesday and rode up to Cook's Corner on Sunday with MR and Bob. We ran down to Mother's in Sunset Beach for a bit. We had a nice BBQ that night. All-in-all it has been a real nice vacation.

All went well on Tuesday's test. On to Alaska! Lodge was as boring as ever. Zzzzz. Yesterday I got all the painting finished and Torchy put an old temperature light on the FLHT. Tonight we are going to the Hyatt California Club for dinner with Dan and Gay on their anniversary. Ought to be great.

Summer is really here!. I am sleeping late and don't miss old WHS one bit.

MR and I slept in and hung out at home until noon. We went to see "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". Great film, but each one seems to get darker. We had a hot dog and stopped at Perqs for a drink. The place was full and some guy bought the house a drink. That must have cost $200+. We ran the dogs and went to C&C's for a little bs. Fell asleep in my chair. What to do on Monday?

Yesterday I went to a memorial service with the AHOC for Gypsy in Brea Hills. About 250 bikes there after a violation filled ride. Came back early to pick up the FXT. $580 for tires and a few wheel bearings. Went to the Lodge for Seeley's retirement party. Yawn!

Watched the tube all night.

Last night was really a great event for old WHS. The graduation was smooth and we found out that RG got a heart transplant on Tuesday. Super. The kids were really high on that news. I got to read his name for graduation and it was a sweet moment. This is really, really a memorable day

Finished my last class today. Signed out and grades in. It was a very good year. CT gave me a card with a free lunch in it. Very kind of her!! Another student gave me a rose. WOW! Tomorrow is graduation. I think I'll ride the Harley to practice.

Yesterday was busy as hell. WASC meeting, Grades, Senior awards assembly, Lodge, and home.

I am going to be off for the entire summer for the first time in 15 years. I wonder what I will do with all the time.

I am not feeling well today. Lunch yesterday at the Ritz was a bit over the top. Several Martinis' too many. I played softball last night, unfortunately we lost 19-18. I got on base 4 times, two walks and two rbi singles.

I have a busy day today with a WASC meeting and awards assembly tonight.

I got up early on Saturday to meet Ted and photograph the 3751. We drove to El Monte and found a spot near the 605 Freeway and Valley Blvd. A few people came as time past. We staked out a good spot and caught her as she entered the junction for the line to San Berdoo. Beautiful engine with three cars. Just loping along with a beautiful whistle.

Dropped Ted off and went to Fullerton with MR for lunch. Came home and rode the FXR to Mothers. Denise, whose child is Special Ed., was there and told me about her problems. Hmmm!

Watched TV at night. Fell asleep. Really boring huh?

Today is the last day for seniors at WHS. Most don't realize the portal's significance.

Ted and Mary Ellen came over for dinner last night. Ted and I are going to chase 3751 tomorrow, probably in El Monte at the junction.

MR got the boys to OK an open house on Loire Sunday. I hope the place sells in a flash

It has been a harrowing week so far. I was so glad to get out of here yesterday, I couldn't believe it. I went to the American Thunder at the National Sports Bar, but the meeting was a bust because of the Laker game. You cannot have a meeting in a sports bar.

I went to the Lodge after for another meeting. This one was better.

I guess we are putting the rental up for sale at $620K. I hope it sells. That would be real nice.

Slept big time last night. Tonite is the farewell dinner for 2 WOCUT board members. This ought to be fun.

I have been in the bosses office all day yesterday and even a bit today. I am so glad that I will not be rep next year I can't explain it. I want nothing to do with this nightmare any longer.

The Bedroom Commandos won last night 14-7. I had two hits but struck out. No joy.
We are in the hunt with a record of 2-1. I don't know if the undeafeated team won or not.

Tonight is American Thunder and Lodge. Busy, busy week. I will be busy as hell until the 17th and then sweet peace. I will not even think about this place until late August.

MR is looking to sell Loire Circle. I think it is time.

I need a beer.

We did a great job at the Super Show selling t-shirts. I think we sold 80 for about $800. Not to bad for sitting around, lying to each other. The Soprano's and Deadwood were incredible! Tony, Tony, Tony!!!

I have meetings all this week and into next week. Hurry up June 17. Ted should be in town tomorrow. I hear they are running th 3751 out to San Berdoo. I havn't seen her in over 10 years. I havn't seen a steamer since '01 in South Dakota.

Spent yesterday at the Super Show in Irvine with the AHOC. Sold $400 worth of shirts. I am going back today, but I am not going to hang out for the whole day. Not much going on except I took the dogs down to the park overlooking the Bolsa Chica. Full of jackrabbits. Tasha had a field day chasing them without result. Two more weeks of school. Yeeaaa!

I think we are going to sell the rental house. The market is fat and the inventory down. I have been in that business way too long. I don't know what MR is going to do, but maybe she will ride with me. We went through the 80% barrier for CTAP2 at work. Glad we made the goal. Two more weeks and all this is history.

Tomorrow is my last DEA meeting. Pass the torch!

Today is Friday and it couldn't come sooner. It was a short, but very busy week. I didn't do much of anything at night but watch baseball on the tube. A bud of mine from the AHOC got into a motorcycle accident and hurt himself pretty good. Bad news at the doorstep. Sounds like "The day the music died". School is about over the seniors are antsy. Hell, the staff is antsy. Hurry up summer.

I think I will go over to the Lodge to rattle a few nazi cages, pissem off and leaveum mad.

Tomorrow is the Super Show for mototcycles at the Irvine Amphitheater. I think I will hang out with Butthead and sell a few T-shirts. I think I'll go over to the hospital after and visit Grahme.
