High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

It was a fast week. I went to lunch with the GJ boys. They (mostly) are living in a fantasy world tied to cold war mentality. I also went to a fundraiser for Hunter for sheriff. That was OK.
Saturday I worked on 3751 and yesterday (Sunday) we watched the US beat Canada in olympic hockey.

The computer gift was expensive after you add the cost of software, a router etc. I have a WHS potluck to attend Thursday. Onward!

Turned out to be a nice weekend. MR and I went to Duke's for my birthday. Great meal and time. On Valentine's Day I took the Harley out for a ride and we had a great meal at home. Monday we took Maggie in for blood work. She is fine. We also got a router for the laptop and I set it up. Works fine. Really high tech at home now. I have a GJ lunch on the 17th and a meet and greet with Sheriff candidate Hunter on Friday. Ought to be a good time.

Got our taxes done. Great news!

It is raining again after a weekend of rain. The Super Bowl game was fun and NO Saints won. Great party in that city. I havn't been doing much lately other than following the LA Kings who won nine in a row. They lost last night to the Ducks, but all streaks end. Time to start another one.
The model railroad is coming along fine. I will start to ballast the roadbed and think about scenery.

We are going to get the back bedroom striped and painted. This will finish the inside of the house. Next, rugs and refinish the second floor wood on the floor.

Nice weekend. Worked on the engine and MR and I took the Harley into Long Beach and had lunch at Joe Jost's and a beer at the 49er Tavern. I havn't been there in a while.

Busy week with our anniversary on the 3rd. It is supposed to rain all this week. I guess this is one of the rainy winters we get from time to time.

I have been working on the model railroad quite a bit and it is coming along nicely.

Other than that it has been quiet.
