High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

A lot going on these days. Pam Wilson's son was killed in an auto crash last week. The Memorial Service is Friday in Westminster. This is the day of the Beatty run, and a few aren't going. I think that run has had its' run. We had the AT brunch run on Sunday. We had the first stop and MR was great with all the prep she did. The second stop was in Floral Park in SA and the third in Lake Forest. The ride was a bit boring.

We lost in softball last night big time. We just didn't hit worth a darn. Other than that the exercise is fine as is the weight. I am getting a little bored of the GJ also. I will be gald when it is finished.

Tonight is my last night showing up in a tux at the Elks meeting. It wil be boring but I only have three meetings to go to and then the big goodbye!

It was a busy weekend. St. Patrick's Day was busy in downtown HB. They had a car show and the street was blocked off. I rode both bikes on Sat/Sun. On Sunday I rode with AT to the Rock Store in Malibu with Jen G. as a passenger. Ma May was operated on Saturday for gall bladder problems and came out OK. MR has been a real trooper along with Annette in giving time etc. Bill and Ellie have health problems.

I had my last House/Trustee meeting on Thursday the 15th. I have only 4 more meetings and I am finished with the Elk's Lodge. Hasta!! The GJ is getting along fine. I have one report in the CC office and another in committee. Soon, I will be all finished.

I am looking forward to a couple of long MC rides this summer.

I had a very interesting week. I got a helicopter ride with the Anaheim PD. We responded to a dead body on an apartment house room. This guy had been there a few days and had turned to liquid. After check out Disneyland and Angel Stadium we checked out my house. Great ride down the coast to Seal Beach. We saw a whale and were lit up by a missile destroyer at the Weapons Station. All in all a great experience. The GJ is getting to be a bore. I finsihed my two reports and now it is up to getting finished. We won a softball game last week and got killed this week. Bad news; Roger Conant, age 88 died on the 10th. He was a great little guy. Semper Fi Rog.

Good weekend. MR and I went for a MC ride today to San Pedro. We took pictures of the 500-series Red Cars that they run. MR is going to paint a pic or two of them. On Saturday we went into the hood in Santa Ana for pics of the PE bridge over the SA river and and old building that was a lumber yard. We were out of the our elelment there. On Sunday we met Denise, Barbara, Leon and Glen in SP. We had a beer and went to Mothers. Left there for King Neptunes. The old band is back! Great news!!!. The GJ is getting to be a pain.
