High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

We are in the last trimester at the GJ. Downhill from here. I had a real nice week. Last Thursday I went to a pot luck at WHS. Always fun. Friday was the GJ's birthday lunch and that was my day. After a quiet Fri/Sat I went to the LB M/C swapmeet. We had a good day for the AHOC. That night MR and I went to the Styx concert at the HofB in Downtown Disney. Great time. Monday night we went with Doug and Mary to The Who concert in LB. After a great dinner, a great concert. All-in-all, two great times. I skipped the Lodge meeting for a symposium at the HB library on the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders. There were two there, including Dick Cole, Doolittle's co-pilot. Touching history is always good.

We had one heck of a weekend. On Saturday night we went to a dinner party at Candace Lace's. Fantastic dinner with steak, lobster and champagne. We sat around the fire pit after and were entertained by a gutiar player. Real cool!. On Sunday we went to a NASCAR party with AT. Fun time again. I won $100 which paid for the dinner with the Ritz group that night at King's Fishhouse. We started at Lucille's Rib Joint, but the wait was 1 1/2 hours. Never! Anyway we hightailed it to HB for a 7:30 sitting. Real nice dinner. I was a little bloated after the weekend and today is a fast day. No game tonight, so off to the RR club.

This weekend was my birthday. They are starting to pile up. Mr bought me a new sport coat and trousers. On Saturday night MR and I along with Patty and Scott and Mo went to Luggatti's in downtown HB. Great meal. On Sunday, the day, after a workout MR and I hung out becasue of the rain. Afterward we went to the Huddle with the AHOC for some BS. Finally, we had her mom over for dinner. The Omaha steaks were awesome. All-in-all a great weekend. I have Monday off with an early softball game. Then I am free from SB until March 5th. .All is well today in my world.

Going on day-to-day with the GJ. Finished a report. We had an anniversary dinner on the 3rd at Dukes and a Super Bowl party on the 4th at Tom B's. Softball was not fun on the 5th as we are in a tough league. The annual physical went along fine. They are cutting my pill in half. Good! Buffalo and upstate NY are getting buried in snow. I was at the ROV for the vote count on the 6th. On the 7th I was invited to be a trustee in the WHS Foundation. Seems like a good idea.
