High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

Last night was the last of 16 holiday events MR and I attended. It was at my nephew's house in CM. I guess we are going to B&B's tonight for chili. I went to Fry's and bought a 17" flat screen monitor on sale. It is cool. Christmas was great. MR and I bought each other the best gifts. It ought to be quiet for the rest of the week. Good.

We are in the midst of a blow-out holiday season. We have had 12 events to attend so far with most of the next 3 dasy booked with something. Our open house was a blast with a great mixture of friends. Tuesday night we had Melinda and family over for cocktails and we went downtown for dinner. A real great night. Today the Mac's are coming over for chili and we are at the Nielsens for dinner tomorrow night. Saturday we are taking Bob and Char out for Xmas dinner. The two potluck lunchs at WHS were great. All-in-all it is a great holiday season. Johnny Damon signed with the Yankees. The Apocalypse is upon the Red Sox nation.

We just spent the busiest weekend of the year. We started with a staff party at CG's Friday afternoon. Great fun! We moved over to the Lodge for a nightcap and home. On Saturday, MR worked the children's Christmas party while I went to the AHOC party in Santa Ana. Afterward MR joined me. We finished the day at a party in Turtle Rock. Into bed about 12. Sunday saw us on the toy run to Skid Row and a couple of stops for fun in Sunset Beach. The Office fed us breakfast for tips. Great! Last night the railroad club had a dinner. More fun. All-in-all a great weekend. BB starts his treatments this week. Hope all goes well. We have the open house next weekend and I might skate a little hockey on Thursday. Sara Feeder says the occut has great changes in store for me. I hope I hit the lotto.

We had a great weekend mostly. We when to dinner in downtown HB with D and G at a new Italian restaurant. Wonderful meal. On Saturday I rode the MC over to the Huddle and Mothers. No big deal. Saturday night we went to Perqs for a couple and I stopped at the Lodge. I am taking Y for a MC ride to Cook's Corner on Sunday. Buckwheat is coming also. We rode up for lunch and down to the Huddle for laughs. B, P, and BB are all ill. Not good. MR and I went downtown with neighbors Sunday night. All-in-all a busy weekend. My surgery was fine. I guess life is good
