It is a cool Monday and we are getting the alarm system upgraded. It is an all-day job. We get the windows replaced a week ago. Busy busy times. K and V left on the 8th. I think they had a great time. Linda H. stopped by last Monday night for an evening. I went to the eye doctors and I am reasonably in good shape.
Worked on the engine Saturday. We cleaned the firebox. flues and smoke box. Very messy. Next is drilling out the staybolts.

Busy, busy week. We have house guests, Vince and Kathy for the week. It is the week of our 45th anniversary. We were scheduled to take the paivate car "Montana" to San Deigo for lunch on the 3rd, but Amtrak had a derailment and it was scrubbed. We recouped with a dinner at Dukes and the Super Bowl game at our house later.
During the week we have been showing them around S. Cal. We went to LA, Joe Jost's and Hollywood. Tomorrow we are off to Palm Springs. for the air museum.
We have a family party at the Pizza Lounge last night. Grat fun
