End of March
I had my annual physical on the 24th and it came out well. Took the FXR into BT's for a little work. I will need to put some money into it later in the spring/summer. I took the FLHTC in for a 5K service. Next Friday, the 3rd, we are off to Beatty. This is getting to be a bit of a drag. I don't know how many more times I can get motivated to go. I have spent about three weeks of my life in that place. Go figure.
The Maccarthys were in town and we rode MetroLink and the subway to Hollywood. Nice day. It all came together nicely. We played poker at KG's Friday night. I made the final table.
The 3751 is coming together nicely. The FRA inspection is Wednesday April 1. Great, April Fools Day.

March 18
Yesterday was St. Patrick's Day and MR had the usual corned beef dinner. We had 18 guests and a couple didn't make it. It was real nice and she did the usual excellent job.
The dog hasn't torn up the new artificial grass yet. I guess she thinks it is a rug or something.
The exercise regimen has been good. One-half a weight lifting session per day and two miles at 4 mph on the treadmill. It feels great.
Our next project is the guest bathroom. That is up to MR

March 11
Busy week last week and into this one. We got the kitchen and MR's room repainted. They really look great. The lawn guys are installing the artificial grass as I write this. Hope that turns out well. We should get a new gate for the alley this week. All we need to do is get the guest bathroom redone and check out the stucco for the front of the house. Got to keep up the place!
We went to an AT meeting last night and it was far better than the ones in Jan/Feb. I won a new tire from Wheel Works. I think I will get the front tire replaced on the FLHTC.
The 3751 is scheduled for San Diego on May 3. I don't know what my role will be yet. There may be a conflict with Beatty as I would like to be on the engine when we hydro test it. We shall see. The throttle should be finished by the 21st and the engine is all buttoned up. Keep my fingers crossed.
I may go shooting with the GJ group tomorrow.

Pretty busy over the weekend. I worked on the engine on Saturday and took a MC ride on Sunday. Monday evening I worked with the CCW people to get out a large mailer to all OC elected officials.
Tuesday I had lunch with the GJ group in Tustin. Nice time. That night I went to an AT board meeting. Very polite meeting, particularly after what happened at the last general meeting.
Wednesday we had the artificial lawn company come out to lay the new lawn in the yard. It started to rain so they didn't finish. MR and I covered the work with plastic so the dog can't get in there.
Tomorrow the painter comes and I have a GJA lunch.
