Mid-June

We are 2/3s of the way through orientation with the GJ. Tomorrow I am the shot-caller for all day. I have to take in my M/C for a 10K tuneup. This weekend I was riding all through the days. I logged 250 miles.

On Friday night Lance and Kathy picked us up in a limo for dinner in the Skyroom of the Towers in Long Beach. She retired and we had way too much to drink. She fell and cut open her head. Lance dropped us off and went to SB getting rid of the limo and drove back to Hoag Hopital. Gutsy!!.

On Sunday we had Bob and Char, Dan and Gay and Mo over for dinner in the evening. Real nice time. I have 5 days left. Wnat next?

Graduation Day

I went over to WHS today to practice the graduation ceremony. Nice of them to ask me to read the names. Pam WW looks better and so does Diane T. Last weekend MR and I went to Paso Robles with AT and had a blast. It was a great ride and the motel/wineries were fabulous. We rode home by ourselves. All-in-all a great weekend.

The GJ is really winding down. We were in orientation for the first three days this week. It seem to go fine. I have three days of orientation next week. On the fifth day I am the shotcaller. HBT!

Yesterday I had two tooth implants put in. That was a kick in the butt. It didn't hurt but the noise sure scared me. Grind and drill. Glad it's over

June 5

An interesting weekend. We had dinner Sunday night with some of the Ritz group and Spaghetiini's in Los Al. Expensive stuff. We lost big time on Monday's softball. Tough league. Sunday MR and took a ride to Cooks and Turc's for the day. Busy day. Saturday we did honey-dos. The GJ is winding down big time. OCH hit the web yesterday late, so the paper didn't write much, but lookout tomorrow. The Yanks are having an all-time bad season. Nothing but injuries. I wonder about their condidtioning programs. Kinda funny, all those professional athletes, always hurt. Maybe if they had a real job.
