Went to WHS for a potluck today. Met the new superintendent of the district. Nice fellow.
The kitchen is finished and really looks great. MR did a great job of putting this together.
I got my CCW renewed. I went to the range on Monday to qualify and got my weapons inspected on Tuesday. Next Tuesday I will get my permit.
MR is off to Buffalo on the 2nd of November to visit her mother. She will return on the 9th.
The World Series is 3-2 Texas. Today's game is rained out. Maybe tomorrow.
I am rooting for the Cards. I can't stand seeing Bush sit next to Nolan Ryan at the game. Double whammy looking at their big haired bags of botox wives.

Kitchen
They are finishing the cupboards in the kitchen today. Quite a difference. Painting is next. The World Series begins tomorrow night. Texas vs. St. Louis. Booorrrrring.
Kings begin their home season tonight vs. St. Louis. Their defenseman was hurt in the game on Saturday in Philly. Hope his gets better

Hot weather
The last two days have been really hot. It is supposed to cool off this weekend. I hope so.
There was a terrible shooting in Seal Beach yesterday. Eight people were killed by a man over custody of his child. Poor kid lost both parents in one day.
They started to rebuild the kitchen cupboards in our house. It will take five days. It never ends.
MR is going to Buffalo at the beginning of November for a week.

Yanks won a big game last night over the Tigers, 10-1. AJ Burnett pitched the most important game of his life and did well. Granderson caught two great shots to the outfield.
It is raining today. An early winter storm is coming in.
The work at Redondo is moving along and we will have to get the concrete poured before the winter sets in.
All-in-all pretty quiet
