High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

We are starting to dry out after five days of rain. It is supposed to rain again today. I have a doctor's appt. later after I exercise. I went to WHS for a potluck yesterday. Nice time.

There isn't much going on new. We got a new clothes dryer yesterday. Every time you think you are getting ahead, you fall back

Well we have had three days of really wild weather. Rain, thunder, tornados, high winds, wild surf and flooding. More to come tomorrow.

Fairly busy week. We went to an AT meeting on Tuesday and I went to "Wontons" on Friday. It was OK. Saturday I worked on 3751 and Sunday we went to an AT planning meeting in MV. We left eary as it was beginning to rain. We just beat the rain home. I am to lead a ride to Griffith Park Observatory in March. That might be fun.

We are supposed to have a week of rain here in paradise and today it is stormin' I have a doctor's appt. on Wednesday we are going out to dinner Saturday night with the Elks group.

I like rainy days.

Great weekend! I worked on the engine and we went to American Thunder's post-holiday party at the Holiday Inn in Buena Park. Great time. We rented one of the penthouse suites; got a break on the price. We paid $110 for a $525 room. The food was great as well as the bank. The after-party was also fun. We got to bed about 2 am which is very late for us.

Up at 9, great breakfast and home. Picked up the dogs at the kennel. Took a motorcycle ride to Mother's.

Pretty busy with the new bathroom, painting the master bedroom and getting the first floor painted. Wow!

I worked up in LA on Saturday. We have the major truck parts all cleaned and primed. Next we put a finish coat on and get the wheels turned on a lathe. Then reassemble. After that we sandblast the body of the refrigerator car and paint that.

Big AT party this Saturday night. We are staying at the hotel that we are having the party at. Ought to be fun
