The day after Boxing Day

Christmas was great. MR surprised me with a couple a neat gifts. I got a leg lamp (from the movie "A Christmas Story" and a heavy bag to knock around. She loves her P-coat. She wore it on the MC yesterday and was as warm as toast. It is supposed to rain around here this week. Sure seems like it. I am glad the partying is over. We went to 15 different events over the last three weeks. I am beat. I need a couple days to look over the WASC and decompress. Hurry up rain.

Christmas Vacation

Here I am, working out on the 21st with nothing to do but have fun. The last two weeks at school were hectic with projects and all, but most finished in fine shape. Three chose not to do it and six copied from each other. Very sad. Many "F's". Yesterday we had a graduation ceremony in the school cafeteria for Rafael G. who had a heart transplant last June. It was very moving. About 40 kids and teachers showed up for him. Great feeling. All the parties were fine, with the wine tasting group the best. I have all my shopping about finished. We have to proof-read the WASC report and move on. The buy-out went down Rats!!

December 7, 2004

Day of Infamy. Replaced by September 11, 2001. I had a nice weekend especially at the Knight party on Newport Bay. Great food and people. We really had fun. MR is the Queen Bee!!
Sunday it was raining all day. Cold and miserable. Back to work on Monday. Hurry up Christmas vacation. Went to the RR club last night. Bought a PRR M-1a today. Great deal! I can't imagine how local hobby shops can survive.

Lodge tonight. Yawn!

Looks like we sold the house. It turns out the people who bounced out of escrow are back in it again. Keep my fingers crossed

Early December

The WASC project is coming along fine. I should be finished by Christmas. The department restructuring is gathering momentum. I have practically finished the K-3 article and the VATEA grant is fine. All-in-all a lot of things are nearing the finish line.

MR has sold the rental house and I applied for early retirement. Things look good, so I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The Mason's gave me an award for volunteer teacher etc. That was nice. Good dinner, a little money and a plaque.

This is a nice start for December
