Busy August
We are really busy this August. We have house guests starting the 28th through the 2nd. We have Kyles father and brother for the wedding. We have the wedding on the 12th and MR's cousin later in the month.
Whew
The GOP is really ready to crash the economy just to get rid of O'Bama. This will backfire when you look at the jerks they have running for President

More Baltic Sea
We sailed from St. Petersburg at 6pm. The River Neva is lined with shipyards, cranes, etc. Our next stop was Helsinki, Finland for a day. MR and I took the bus into town and had ice cream, coffee, and beer. We shopped a bit at a flea market and walked back to the ship. We took a nap after. We would take a daily nap after going ashore; this way we would be fresh for dinner and fun after.
From Finland we had a sail day to Copenhagen, Denmark. We had a wonderful time on the cruise. The people were friendly, staff was excellent and the accommodations perfect.
In Copenhagen we booked into the Admiral Hotel, a older but upgraded place. We spent two days walking around and eating etc.
On the 18th we were driven to the airport by a cab driver named Dan who had given us a two hour tour two days eariler. We flew BA to London and AA137 to LAX (Business class).
All-in-all a great vacation.

Back from the Baltic
We went on a Baltic cruise on July 7. We had business class seats on a LAX-JFK leg of the trip. Went we boarded we were moved to the rear of the business cabin so that Octamom could have her family together. Not too nice
We flew to NY and then on to London, changing planes one more time for Stockholm Sweden. We were a bit tired from all the flying. The hotel was nice. After a nap we went for a walk in the old town. Very nice, very clean.
On Saturday the 9th we boarded the ship Silver Whisper for the cruise. We had a veranda deck suite #612. Very comfortable iand the staff is very helpful.
Our first leg was overnight to Tallinn, Estonia. We had lunch and a few beers. The only problem was getting some money changed. We had to use an ATM. Estonia is nice and the old town was full of people having fun.
Returning to the ship we sailed overnight to St. Petersburg Russia. Dinner the second night was the formal affair. Very nicely done.
We arrrived in St. Petersburg and went through the pain of entering Russia. We took three tours there. One each day, the first was "As the Russians See it".
It included a shopping mall and supermarket tour, a metro ride and a vodka tasting. We visited the Winter and Summer Palaces, the Hermitage and Catherine's Summer Palace. The weather was warm but the nights were cooler. All-in-all it was a nice three days.
