End of January
Eddie W. died Thursday night. He really got shorted in life, given how he took care of himself. We had a informal memorial gathering at Rog and Janies on Sunday. Pam, Ed's widow was there and was really depressed. All I can say is savor every day.
Rode the MC to San Diego Sunday and return with AT. Nice ride. I was getting 60 mpg on the first leg.
We cleaned out the firebox on 3751 and got about half of the staybolts drilled. out.

It is a rainy Monday. That is good because we need the rain. Yesterday was cool so I took the FXR out for a short ride. I watched two great football games, the Pats beating the Raven and the Giants beating the 49ers.
We have a small leak problem in the kitchen. I might have isolated it behind the refrigerator. I think we need a new one and probably a dish washer. They are about 10 years old and that is what these things last.
We put the preservative in the superheater on 3751. We also filled the heater coil in the tender. We are going to Williams on the 14th of May returning on the 20th. That should be fun

Mid January 2012
Football playoffs are in full swing. Watched the Giants beat Green Bay in Green Bay. Great win for NY. MR and I went to the AT party Saturday night. A real nice time
Worked on the shuttle valve and disassembled the throttle on 3751. On Sunday I went to a Board of Directors meeting in Pasadena. They expanded the Board to eleven members and revoted all incumbants. I was re-elected Secretary. And so it goes

A new year
We didn't do much for New Years Eve. We split a bottle of campaigne with C&C and that was it. On NYD I took a motorcycle ride down to Seal Beach and back, stopping at Mothers. I ran int Bob T. and his new girlfriend there. All is well with him.
I took another MC ride with the other bike on the 2nd. Time to get it running again.
MR has been down with a cold and I have been sniffling also.
I went to the railroad club, and worked on 3751 since the first. We also went to a AT planning meeting on Sunday.
On Monday the 9th the GJ boys and I went to Burro Canyon to shoot rifles. Nice time We also booked our plane tickets to Istanbul on July 9th via Turkish Air. Not cheap
