High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

We had a big weekend with Kelly's wedding. It started with the rehersal dinner on Thursday night. Good time. The wedding was Friday night and it came off well. It was held at the Garden in Garden Grove on Knott Ave. Nice place. Saturday was a family picnic at Hank's Beautiful day and the pool was filled. Sunday evening we all got together at Annette's to eat up all the left over food.

Sunday mornig I rode the MC to the swap meet at Vet's Stadium. The AH were selling t-shirts. It hardly seems worth the while.

Busy time of late. I went to Cindy W's farewell party on the 7th. She is off to Kentucky. Big mistake!! I attended the BOS meeting an spoke, asking the supervisors to issue a no-confidence statement on the sheriff.

The AT meeting that night was a mess. It turns out that Indian Jack was done in by the old guard. It was very embarassing. There are a number of members in that group I will never trust again.

Thursday was the guys from the GJ at lunch in Tustin. Real fun. That night I went to a range night to shoot. Very informative talking to CCWI.

Valentines' Day was great with a neighborhood dinner. Real fun time as was my birthday dinner on the 11th.

All-in-all a great week

We went to the super bowl party at the Lodge. A real nice time. Tuesday was our anniversary and we went to Captain Jack's in Sunset Beach. We havn't been there in 20 years. The meal was delicious and plentiful. Other than the fact that I am making great progress on my model railroad, nothing is really new.

The engine group is ramping up for a hydro test to see if we have any leaks in the firebox. May 3rd is the next excursion.
