We had a great weekend in Palm Springs. We rode out ourselves on Saturday and went to a party in town. Great meal. After checking in to the Comfort Inn we hung out at the pool and later took a walk into town. We watched the baseball game on a number of tvs in various bars. We went back to the pool area for another couple of drinks before turning in.
On Sunday we hung out at the hotel for most of the day, taking a walk later in the afternoon. We cleaned up and went to the Chop House for Chateau Breand. Wonderful meal.
Monday morning we had breakfast and off to home on the bike. The wind was really blowing in the pass. We picked up the dogs and watched the game. Angels won on Monday but the Yanks came back on Tuesday. Go Yanks

Busy week
Sunday we went to the meeting for the Lodge Xmas party, Monday to the Ritz. On Tuesday evening we went to AT for a meeting. Wednesday and Thursday quiet.
ALCS begins tomorrow and we are off to Palm Springs on Saturday.

Busy week
Monday I had to get my guns inspected by the OCSD and Tuesday I completed the deal. Had lunch afterward with the boys from the GJ. Went to an AT board meeting that night. The Poker Run is pretty much in place and so is the holiday party.
Wednesday I had another shot in my eye. This is the second one. I went to the RR club Monday night. I wish the guys would spend more time on task rather than yakking all the time.
The Yanks won the first game against Minnesota and will play Friday. The Dodgers and Angels also won, as did the Kings Wow!

Going to the Lodge tonight for a fish fry. Hope it's good. Went to an AT planning meeting Wednesday night. This poker run is getting bigger and bigger, contrary to the June meeting's goals. What was supposed to be a simple poker run ending somewhere for a meal and cheap entry fee has become a $40 gig with proceeds to MS. Fine, but where is the director who wanted this fun. A no show. Now the ticket includes a meal (burger etc.) and ends at the Beach Girl bar on Beach Blvd. There is talk of a band and observation run. This is way over the top.
Come December I will be finsihed with this stuff.
This is the last weekend of baseball. The playoffs begin next Wednesday. The Yanks will probably play Detroit. The playoffs are a crap shoot. Regular season doesn't mean much.
We are going to Palm Springs on the 17th for a MC run. Hope it works out.
