Fairly quiet weekend. Went to dinner with friends at Spark. Watched the Yankees lose two to TB. The agony of baseball at the end of the season. Worked a bit at Redondo Saturday. replaced the wood in front of the pilot. Working on attaching new water hoses between the engine and tender.
Labor Day coming up. Birthday party for young KJ Saturday, possible farewell gathering for Winston at LALS. Melinda coming down Friday night so it could be a very busy weekend.

Yanks take two of three from the Red Sox. ARod was hit and the Yanks didn't bite. ARod later hit a HR and the Yanks won going away. Sweet justice.
Gearing up for a trip to Kentucky and West Virginia . First class air tickets to Cincinnati and return. Ought to be fun.
Went to lunch with MLS. Different.
Also went to all school reunion at Westminster Mall Got some real compliments for old students. All-in-all a great weekend.

Mid - August
Mid-August and the weather is quite nice. Not hot and cool nights. The Yanks have a few players back and took two of three from the Tigers. Now four against the Angels.
Gearing up for a vacation in September to Kentucky and West Virginia. Flying first-class and taking in ball games in Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and maybe Washington DC.
Got the facia board replaced on the south side of the house. Not much left to do.

August 5
Busy week. We had 3751 at Union Station for a movie shoot. Long day with longer night. Interesting though. Great food.
Yesterday MR and I went to San Diego with Kyle and Jess to meet Adolfo and Kelly. We went to Petco Park to see the Yankees and Padres. Yanks sucked. Game was over in the 3rd inning. It was a very long day and we were exhausted when we got home.
Busy Monday with cleaning lady, aquarium guy, and finishing faccia boards.
