High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

We got beaten by Fountain Valley but bounced back to beat Saddleback in our first league game, 5-2. That was a tiring day. I had the interview by the judge's panel for the grand jury in the morning, taught a class, coach a game and went to the Lodge for installation. Man was I tired. MR flew to Buffalo on Wednesday and I am on my own for a week or so. We have a game at Downey on Monday night that I will not be able to make. I am to see Dr. Starr on Tuesday am. Busy, busy

Monday was a nice day. I went to the Ritz for lunch and the team beat Poly High 9-2 afterward. The BC lost in softball though. Tuesday was a bitch. Our taxes will cost another 10K, Tasha had a tumor to be checked, Ford banged up my car in the lot, MR is going to Buffalo and the Lodge sucked. This straightened itself out with an $800 check for a settlement, Ford gave us a loaner car and Tasha is fine. A real rollercoaster ride for two days. I have a very important game against Lakewood today, but tomorrow should be a fun day (St. Pats Day)
Anyway, let's hope so!

This was a very interesting couple of days. After the rainout Saturday, I didn't do much until Sunday. We had the wine tasting at the Lodge. It turned out great with a good profit. Sunday night we went to the House of Blues and saw Styx. A great concert, but I sure was beat on Monday. I rallied for the Rolling Stones concert at the Forum Monday night. Excellent concert. I also found out the BC won their softball game without Tom or me. We have a lock on first place half-way through the season. In freshman baseball we beat Artesia 21-5. All-in-all very memorable time. Going to be tough to top.
