Clean rugs
I went to the Ritz for the Xmas lunch. Goose isn't my thing. MR got the rugs cleaned and they were damp all night. I didn't go the the RR club as I was really tired last night. Too many G&Ts at lunch.
The weather is cooling off and we are supposed to get some rain. I'll believe that when it does.
The economy is still stinking. 3rd quarter GDP was down. One more quarter down and we are in an official recession.
Thanksgiving is this week. We are going to Annette's for dinner.

Nov 16
MR and I went to Laughlin last week. The place was a ghost town. I guess the recession is really impacting the place. We spent two days with Ted and Mary Ellen. Nice visit. They are on the way to Florida.
The economy is really in a mess. GM and the others are looking for a bail out. No way without strings attached, such a develop a car with 100 mpg within three years. Or better yet, let the oil companies bail them out. After all they were in bed together for the last century.
We have fires again in So Cal. The local one in Riverside Canyon is bad. Lots of lost homes.
