End of January
Worked very hard the last two weeks on 3751. Replaced the pedistal liners on the tender, recoupled the engine and tender and took all the brake rigging off of the MHC trucks. Next is cleaning out the firebox for the annual tests. It looks like all we will run this year is to San Bernardino and Train Days at LAUPT.
The trip to Rock Island is toast, so MR has booked us onto a Baltic cruise. We fly to NY and London business class and coach to Stockholm Sweden. We spend a night there and board the Silver Seas crusie to Estonia, Russia , Finland and Denmark. We fly to London and businss class to LA. Leave July 7, return July 18.
I don't know about a motorcycle ride this year. Dan and Steve want to go to Sturgis but I have to be around for Jessica's wedding on the 12th of August.
We will see.
