It was a very busy weekend around here with the surf meet and Nan visiting from Nashville. The parking was a mess with traffic backed up on all the side streets. The parking structures were filled and there just wasn't any more room for cars. Lake Street was filled with parked cars all the way to Yorktown!
I worked on 3751 Saturday moving some ballast and cleaning out the inside of the tender. Real messy, but at least it wasnt hot outside. In fact the weather has been unseasonably cool for the summer. Not so in the rest of the country.
The Yanks split 4 with the RS. They could have taken Monday's game with one key single. At least the RS didn't gain any ground.
