High Iron and Rollin' Thunder

Going to the Lodge tonight for a fish fry. Hope it's good. Went to an AT planning meeting Wednesday night. This poker run is getting bigger and bigger, contrary to the June meeting's goals. What was supposed to be a simple poker run ending somewhere for a meal and cheap entry fee has become a $40 gig with proceeds to MS. Fine, but where is the director who wanted this fun. A no show. Now the ticket includes a meal (burger etc.) and ends at the Beach Girl bar on Beach Blvd. There is talk of a band and observation run. This is way over the top.

Come December I will be finsihed with this stuff.

This is the last weekend of baseball. The playoffs begin next Wednesday. The Yanks will probably play Detroit. The playoffs are a crap shoot. Regular season doesn't mean much.

We are going to Palm Springs on the 17th for a MC run. Hope it works out.
